The Mini Converter Heavy Duty Analog SDI by Blackmagic Design converts from NTSC, PAL (composite), HD/SD component, or S-Video signal to the SDI output (with the second loop-through output as well). For audio, this device can embed SDI audio from balanced AES/EBU or L/R analog audio inputs. Some of the equipment that suitable with this device are VHS, Betacam SP, HDV cameras, set-top boxes, and other devices.

From the construction side, this Mini Converter Heavy Duty Analog SDI has the solid block of aircraft quality aluminum and design to protect from the rough usage. Even, audio and BNC connections are secured by outcroppings the aluminum body. What’s more?
