The Tangent Element Tk Panel from Tangent is a “Trackerball” panel, consist of four element panels that substitute mouse and keyboard towards supporting software such as the supporting color grading software. This panels also has the function to gain precise results faster and with more technical satisfaction than with mouse or keyboard. Some of the supporting software that included such as SCRATCH, DaVinci Resolve, Mistika, On-Set Dailies, and Yoko.
As part of the Element device family, this Element Tk Panel is characterized by its unique strengths that are intuitive, great function and style, Cost Effective, along with Extensive Support. Unlike other workstation, all the controls in this device are not redundant. Each control is programmable to operate different functions. When the control is programmed, the functionality gets labeled on the display screen of the panel. On the contrary, when reprogrammed, the functionality gets re-labeled. The display screens have the white OLED bulbs which give crisp, high-contrast, high-resolution and easy-to-read characters.
In this Element Tk Panel, there are 3 programmable Trackerballs and 3 programmable rings over the balls. There is also the separate reset buttons for each ring and ball, and the two buttons to program the functions such as ALT and Shift. For having the high-precision and extended life, the Trackerballs and rings work by Optical Laser Pickup. The Trackerball can be eliminated for the cleaning purpose and reinstalled easily. The different panels can be used independently or all together in a set. There are more than one of each panel type can be incorporated into the set, and widely functional control system can be put together.
From the construction side, Element Tk Panel is made from precision laser-cut solid aluminum. They all tidily attached to each other, side by a magnet, and they take up a desk footprint of only 7.9 inches deep. The panels are powered by USB and connected to the computer each by the single USB cable via plug-and-play functionality, without any need for drivers for the installation. The panels can also optionally be used with Tangent HUB service, that allows the layouts of the panels controls to be customized.
