Blackmagic Design DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G adalah digital cinema capture and playback card dengan 2 multi-rate 12G-SDI input and output yang menerima resolusi dari SD hingga DCI 4K (4096x2160) pada 60 fps. Card ini mendukung 10-bit YUV dan warna RGB 8-, 10-, dan 12-bit, serta konversi up/down/cross dan output stereoskopik 3D pada bandwidth penuh 4:4:4:4 RGB. DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G menampilkan desain card mezzanine yang memiliki konektor input dan output HDMI 4K pada daughter card kedua, bersama dengan koneksi untuk menambahkan dua modul fiber optic opsional untuk Dual Link optical fiber SDI input and output. Card ini juga mendukung AES/EBU balanced XLR dan unbalanced RCA input/output, analog video I/O, reference input, dan RS-422 control melalui breakout cable yang disertakan.
