Blackmagic Design URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 Digital Cinema Camera menghadirkan set kontrol yang diperluas dan bahkan lebih banyak fungsi, meningkatkan kemampuan elektronik dan recording dari pendahulunya Mini Pro. G2 memperkenalkan sensor Super 35 4.6K yang diperbarui yang menampilkan 15 stop dynamic range pada ISO 3200, recording high frame rate hingga 300 fps, dan fungsi recording tambahan.

Penambahan kontrol kamera eksternal memungkinkan menu diakses untuk mengubah pengaturan eksposur, mengaktifkan slow/fast motion, atau menggunakan focus assist atau fungsi lainnya. Bagian luar kamera juga mendapatkan panel LCD monokrom yang menampilkan sekilas data pemotretan penting. Fitur pro lainnya adalah built-in ND (neutral density) filter wheel. Four-position wheel beralih antara dua, empat, dan enam stop neutral density, ditambah clear filter untuk pengurangan no exposure.
