Sony PXW-X200 XDCAM Handheld Camcorder

The Sony PXW-X200 from Sony is a professional Camcorder that inspired by Sony PMW-200. This new transformation brings the feature three 1/2" Exmor CMOS sensors that have higher sensitivity and improved signal-to-noise ratio. This product can records, up to 1080p60 by using the XAVC Intra and Long GOP codecs with 4:2:2 10-bit sampling. Other options for recording are also available from MPEG HD422, HD420, and DV quality. This device is made with 17x Fujinon zoom lens with 35mm equivalent focal range of 29.3-498.7mm. On the lens, there is the independent zoom, focus, and iris control rings with hard stops giving full manual control.

On the design, this Sony PXW-X200 is similar to the PMW-200 which has the same compact handheld form factor. There is also the Dual SXS media card slots that support exFAT, FAT, and UDF file format modes, as well as concurrent recording to 2 cards, for fast data backup, and redundancy. The camcorder gives 4-channels audio recording, as well as the HDMI and 3G-SD outputs for video monitoring.

Other features in this Sony PXW-X200, such as cache recording feature, Multi-Interface (MI), as well as the slow and quick motion from 1 to 60fps.
