Sony HXR-NX100 Full HD NXCAM Camcorder

The HXR-NX100 from Sony is a professional handheld camcorder that provides high-quality performance, users friendly, and handheld body. This camcorder has the single Exmor R sensor with Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, 24x Clear Image Zoom, and the Sony G lens with 12x optical zoom. The Zoom Lens has the function to give focus, zoom, and iris. Another function of this lens is to give full-auto mode with servo control, or as a lens for manual operation.

With the ability to store, up to 6 picture profiles; this HXR-NX100 gives users a share profiles between multiple NX100 camcorders. For users who want Sony Slow and Quick Motion feature for shooting the HD video, this product also supports it with variable frame rates. To make the recording towards diverse of codecs, frame rates, and formats easier, this camcorder supports the XAVC S codec recording Full HD, up to 59.94p, AVCHD 2.0 up to 59.94p, and DV for SD video.

For this HXR-NX100, the footage is recorded to media via the 2 x SD memory card slots. Users can choose to record concurrently to both cards or use the relay mode which the switches can record automatically to the second memory card when the first one is full. The 2 card slots can be controlled separately from the 2 independent record buttons. The 2 x 3 pin XLR audio inputs has the function to support mic, line, and mic +48V (phantom power) for using professional microphones. To have a good result in the dim lighting conditions, this product has the IR capability along with the date/time stamp functionality.
